As part of their home learning, the children were given the task of designing and making their very own Zulu shields. They experimented with different colours and patterns inspired by traditional Zulu warrior shields. They also enjoyed making model spears using a variety of materials. It was lovely to see their enthusiasm, creativity and imagination shine through as they brought their history learning to life through these hands-on activities! They enjoyed bringing their models into school to share with their class.
