Thomas Arnold Primary School

Digital Resources

For those of you looking for a little some additional home learning activities for your child, the following list of educational websites that are free to access:

Virtual Museum Tours

As museums and other places of interest are closed for the time being, we have found that many are now offering free online tours and exhibitions. We would encourage you to (virtually) visit as many of these as possible.

Click here for a list of the museums from all around the world that are currently offering this service. We really think this is a great opportunity to see some amazing exhibitions that you might not otherwise get the chance to enjoy with your children.

Khan Academy

Especially good for maths and computing for all ages. Note this does use the U.S. grade system, but it’s mostly common material.

BBC Learning

This site is old and no longer updated and yet there is still so much available. From language learning to BBC Bitesize Revision. No TV licence is required, except for the content on iPlayer.
