We have been really lucky at the school to experience a highly-visual, interactive show delivered by the Royal Institution. It has inspired the pupils to think about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects. The audience -pupils and teachers- certainly enjoyed the show, which explored electricity and energy. The pupils learned about a scientist Michael Faraday, known as the “Father of Electricity” and got to see a Van de Graaff generator (a machine with a hollow metal done). Well done to all the pupils who volunteered to participate!
