Today, the children became little plant detectives as they explored bulbs and seeds! 🌱 Each table was given a plate of mysterious bulbs and a plate of seeds, and the children had to put their detective skills to the test and guess what they were. There were lots of interesting ideas and some very confident guesses! The children then discussed how they could sort the objects into different categories and recorded their observations on sugar paper. Finally, they compared the similarities and differences between bulbs and seeds. The biggest surprise of the day was definitely the bulb — many children were convinced it was an onion! 🧅 Perhaps we should have checked the salad bowl before starting our investigation! Overall, it was a fun and fascinating session, with plenty of curious minds, brilliant observations and a few very suspicious-looking “onions”!
