In Year 6, we were given the challenge to work in teams to create a bird’s nest. It had to have specific properties: strong and sturdy, yet soft and comfy; it would last in wet weather.
We tested the nests outside and the winning nests were the ones which could withstand water being poured on them. To make the test fair, we poured an equal amount of water each time. Afterwards, we evaluated our nests and thought about changes we would make.
