We are excited to share our new sensory playground, designed to support all our pupils through engaging, inclusive outdoor learning.
The space includes climbing equipment, a slide, sensory panels, musical features, and calming areas, all set on safe, colourful flooring. A covered section ensures children can use the space in all weather.
Since opening, children have shown excellent engagement—exploring equipment, interacting with peers, and developing confidence, independence, and focus. Many pupils have been able to sustain attention and enjoy both active play and calm, regulated moments.
This new space is already making a real difference, helping our pupils to explore, connect, and thrive.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our Headteacher, Mrs Terina King, for her support in making this initiative possible and for helping create a more purposeful and enriching environment for our ARP pupils.
