SOS feeding approach in TAPS ARP from February 2024

Dear parents,

We are delighted to provide you with some important information regarding our upcoming plans at the ARP. Starting from February 2024, we are excited to announce that we will be offering feeding therapy led by two highly qualified professionals, Mrs Laurent Williamson, speech and language therapist and Mrs Catherine Turnbull, special needs teacher. Both practitioners hold expertise in utilising the SOS feeding approach.

We are committed to providing a well rounded experience for our students, which encompasses their specific needs and challenges. In light of this commitment, we have decided to incorporate feeding therapy into our existing timetable and curriculum. The inclusion of this therapy will greatly benefit our students and aid in their overall development.

In order to offer you more information, we have uploaded a video that explains the SOS feeding approach. This video provides detailed insight into food aversions and offers useful tips to promote positive experience with food. We encourage you to watch this video at your earliest convenience.

If you have any further questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact with us.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to your continue support.

TAPS ARP team.
