Science Investigation in Year 6

As part of our science learning on evolution, we worked in groups to carry out an investigation based on the study of Charles Darwin, where he looked at how birds were able to adapt to living on a particular island based on the shape of their beaks. We used tweezers and chop sticks (to replicate the beaks) to attempt to pick up different shaped seeds. We recorded our results and wrote a conclusion based on our findings.
