On Tuesday, Year 6 were blessed with fine weather for their final Sports Day at Barking and Dagenham Rugby Club. Enthusiasm was high, as every child participated in a range of challenging, yet fun sporting activities, including egg and spoon; hoop; bean bag; hurdles and obstacle races. It was wonderful to see so many parents cheering the children on and participating in a fiercely contested parents’ race. The event could not have taken place without the Year 5 Sport Leaders, Mr Thompson and Mrs Collett- who ensured the event ran like clockwork – many thanks!
