This week, Year 3 have had lots of fun taking part in Science Week!
On Monday, the children enjoyed a visit from Ted Hill from the Royal Institution, who performed some exciting science experiments. They learnt all about energy and were amazed by the demonstrations.
On Tuesday, a university student visited the class and spoke to the children about biology. They enjoyed learning about living things and asking questions.
On Wednesday, the children explored probability and investigated whether Murphy’s Law – the idea that toast always falls butter-side down – is true. Their experiment showed that this is not the case, as the results were random.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed Science Week and have loved learning through practical investigations and hands-on activities.
