Year 1 pupils visited the Gurdwara to consolidate their learning on Sikhism. Pupils learnt about the key beliefs of Sikhism, including the 5 K’s. Pupils also walked around the Gurdwara and saw the holy book (The Guru Granth Sahib), pictures and the Sikh symbol (Khanda). The children also enjoyed a lovely break in the langar hall (dining hall) and had some refreshing juice.
