Computing – Vector Drawings

In Computing this week, the children explored how to create vector drawings using Microsoft PowerPoint. They learned how to use shapes, lines, colours, layering, grouping, and formatting tools to design their own digital artwork.
The class developed their understanding of how vector graphics are made from editable shapes rather than pixels, allowing images to be resized without losing quality. Pupils showed great creativity and problem-solving skills as they combined different tools to produce detailed and colourful designs.
