Hands-On Learning: Exploring Communication, Maths, and Movement in the ARP

This week, our ARP learners engaged in a range of hands-on and sensory-based activities designed to develop their communication, interaction, and problem-solving skills.

In literacy, the children explored farm animals through interactive books, sound boards, and tactile sensory trays, helping them build vocabulary and understanding of the world around them.

Maths lessons focused on sorting, pattern-making, and categorisation using colourful cubes, encouraging logical thinking and fine motor development.

Meanwhile, in physical development, the children practiced balance, coordination, and core strength through structured movement activities, including obstacle courses and soft play.

These engaging activities have provided a rich learning environment, fostering independence, confidence, and meaningful connections with their peers.

Have a great weekend
