The children in Reception have had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year this week. We have explored some of the sights and sounds of China and neighbouring countries. We had a go at using chopsticks and writing Mandarin symbols. One of our parents was kind enough to share how her Vietnamese family celebrate the Lunar New Year. At the end of the week we had a parade around the school to mark this wonderful celebration.
