Following on from our learning of Christmas traditions, this week the children made their own gingerbread cookies. They began by reading the recipe together and carefully measuring out the ingredients before mixing the dough. Once it was ready, they enjoyed rolling it out and cutting a variety of festive shapes. After the cookies had baked, the children had great fun decorating them with their own creative designs.
