We are so impressed with how well Nursery have settled into school since starting with us last week. We are quickly learning the rules and routines in class and getting to know some new friends. Our topic for Autumn 1 is, ‘All About Me.’ This week, we have been drawing self-portraits using mirrors to help us identify our features and talk about what we can see. We have also been practising counting up to 5 using our fingers and singing familiar counting rhymes to help us. Some of our other favourite activities have included making shapes using the playdough, exploring the small world train set, creating a collage, recreating familiar experiences in the home corner and developing our gross motor skills in the outdoor area. What a fantastic start Nursery, well done!
