Year 3 Step back into History!!

Children in Year 3 stepped back in time during an engaging prehistory workshop at the Valence Museum! They began by moulding and decorating their own clay pots using traditional techniques, just as early humans did thousands of years ago. Following this, they embarked on an interactive museum trail, uncovering ancient artefacts, fossils, and cave paintings while learning about the daily lives of our prehistoric ancestors. The adventure continued with a hands-on survival session, where they discovered how early humans made fire, built shelters, and hunted for food using primitive tools. This immersive experience sparked curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the past!
