Our Year 3 pupils had a fantastic day taking part in a range of exciting activities planned by our Year 6 pupils, who were voted Headteachers for the Day!
The day began with a relaxing mindfulness session, where pupils enjoyed calming music while completing mindful colouring to help them feel focused and ready to learn.
They then got creative by designing beautiful Roman-inspired mosaics, linking their artwork to our history topic on the Romans. In the afternoon, pupils put their mathematical thinking to the test by designing and creating their own maths board games, using a range of mathematical skills including problem-solving, number work and strategy.
It was a fun-filled day of creativity, teamwork and learning, and our Year 3 pupils thoroughly enjoyed the activities planned by our fantastic Year 6 leaders!
