Nursery enjoyed learning about Eid and how it is celebrated. We liked learning about different cultures and traditions, whilst gaining a greater understanding of the world. The children explored the meaning of Eid and some children shared how they celebrate Eid with their families.
One child commented, ‘Everyone comes to my home. They eat everything, laugh and have fun!’
As part of the activities, the children created their own beautiful Eid cards and designed their own Henna patterns. The children were very proud of their designs and discussed who they would like to give their cards to.
