Year 1 welcomed parents into school to share some of the wonderful learning that has taken place so far this year. The children proudly presented their information texts and talked about their learning on ‘Toys from the Past’ and the parts of the human body.
They also shared their impressive artwork, which was inspired by the artist Robert Bradford. He creates sculptures using old and unwanted toys. See an example of his work below:
It was fantastic to see so many smiles and proud faces in the hall as pupils celebrated their achievements with their families. Keep up the great work, Year 1!
