Year 4 had an exciting visit to the London Museum of Docklands to explore the exhibition about the slave trade and how sugar was connected to the British Empire. We learned many new facts about how goods like sugar were traded and how this trade affected people around the world. The visit helped us understand an important part of history and gave us lots of new information to think about and discuss back in class.
