In Nursery, we are reading ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears.’ The children have enjoyed retelling parts of the story in the role play area. In our writing area, we have been drawing Goldilocks, The Three Bears and their cottage.
We also made our own Goldilocks using playdough and recreated The Three Bears using loose parts.
In Maths, we have been learning about ‘Size.’ We compared The Three Bears from the story, using new vocabulary, ‘big,’ ‘medium,’ and ‘small.’ We then ordered the bears from smallest to biggest and matched them to different sized bowls, chairs and beds from the story.
