Our pupils have been taking part in Attention Autism sessions, which are specially designed to develop focus, listening, and independent learning skills. These activities capture the children’s interest with exciting visuals, sensory play, and creative tasks, gradually encouraging them to sustain attention and take part more independently.

The sessions begin with highly motivating group activities, such as exploring textures, using natural materials, and watching engaging demonstrations. Pupils then move on to hands-on experiences where they can join in, practise turn-taking, and complete simple tasks with growing independence.
For autistic learners, these structured sessions are especially valuable. They not only strengthen attention and communication but also build confidence, patience, and a sense of achievement. Children learn that focusing for longer brings enjoyment and success, which supports their progress across all areas of learning.
The excitement, curiosity, and pride on the pupils’ faces show just how powerful Attention Autism is in making learning fun while supporting essential life skills.
Have a great weekend
