This week, the children have been planning an instructional writing piece on how to bake cookies. So, we had to take this opportunity to have some fun and bake cookies ourselves. The children worked with their teams to weigh the ingredients, follow the instructions (whilst taking notes) and shape their own chocolate chip cookies. Once they were baked, the children were very excited and proud of their creations. Of course, we resisted the urge to try one – they were delicious! Well done year 4.
