This week in reception we were lucky to have a farm visit us at school! The children were excited to meet a range of friendly animals, including goats, sheep and rabbits. The farmers taught the children all about how the animals are looked after – from what they eat to how their homes are kept clean and cosy. One of the highlights from the visit was when the children got to feed the animals by hand. Many of the children were especially brave and even held a guinea pig on their laps! We had a great morning and would like to thank the farm for taking the time to come in and speak to us.
