Dear parents,
We would like to take a moment to update you on the happenings in our ARP this week.
Throughout the week, our focus in the classroom has been on the theme of transport and vehicles. This particular topic holds great significance for children with autism, as it allows them to explore and understand different modes of transport. Not only have the children been learning about various types of vehicles, but they have also been practicing their communication skills in the process. Additionally, they have been exposed to the different sounds that each vehicle makes, which is proving to be both educational and enjoyable for them.
Another exciting development in our ARP is the introduction of combined lunchtime groups within the ARP. This decision was made with the intention of promoting inclusive practices, enabling the children to learn new social skills, and facilitating progress across different levels. By mixing the groups, we aim to provide opportunities for growth and foster meaningful interactions between the children.
Looking ahead to next week, our focus will shift towards safety road strategies. It is of utmost importance to equip our children, including those with special needs, with the knowledge of how to stay safe when navigating roads and crossings. We will engage the children in interactive activities and discussions that aim to develop their understanding and awareness in this area.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Your involvement and support are greatly appreciated as we continue to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for your children.

Have a great weekend.
