As part of our learning in Science this term, we have been exploring different types of rocks and investigating how they form. We had an amazing opportunity to take part in a virtual workshop with a member of the Geology team at the Natural History Museum. The children became scientists for the workshop and learnt about earthquakes and volcanoes. They also gave advice to Volcano Town and assisted in a pretend evacuation, due to an erupting volcano. Once the children had completed the workshop, they then created their own posters to share the information with others in the school. They did a fantastic job.
