Police Visit – Nursery

Today we were very lucky to have a visit from the Police. The Police were very friendly and explained all of the wonderful jobs they do in the community to help us and keep us safe.

We were able to see a police car close-up, hear a police siren and we were even given the opportunity to sit inside the vehicle!

Back in class, we were able to ask the police some questions about what they do. The children thought of some really interesting ones including:

‘ Why do you wear a hat?’

‘What animals do you use to help you in your job?’

‘How do you catch the bad guys?’

‘What do you use your radio for?’

We had a great morning and would like to thank the police for taking the time to come in and speak to us.
