I hope you are all keeping well.
You will have no doubt seen the most recent announcement that schools will not be opening to children in other year groups before the end of term.
To ensure that the school is a safe environment for children and staff, whilst maintaining social distancing guidelines, the government has decided that it will not be suitable to invite more children back to school before the end of the academic year.
The government announced that they are considering a ‘Catch Up’ programme which may run over the summer holidays. Schools have not been informed about this and therefore have not yet received any information about this plan and what it may look like in practice.
We will keep you updated when we receive further information and guidance.
Parents, from eligible year groups, that have not registered for a space next week are no longer receiving information via ParentMail with details about the wider opening.
If you did not register your child by 4th June then they will not be able to come to school next week.
Registration will open again on Monday 15th June so you can contact the school office from then.
If you wish to register your child for a space then you must give at least two days’ notice.
Thank you for the dedication you have shown in supporting the children at home with their learning and for keeping staff informed as to how things are going.
Please ensure that you are checking your ParentMail and Purple Mash regularly to keep up to date with any messages from the school.
