Structure in School- Information for Parents

Dear Parents and Carers,

The children have had a successful start to the year and have been working hard in all lessons since they returned to school last week.

The children have followed the guidance we have put in place to keep them safe and to ensure they remain within their bubble.

The information regarding the layout of the school and the structure we are using is displayed School Organisation- Autumn 2020

Please take the time to read through it so you are fully aware of the safety measures we have in place.

The children are arranged in Key Stage bubbles which allow us to continue with familiar structures to fully support the children in the next steps of their learning.

We are committed to ensuring that the children make good progress this year and therefore are keen to support them in the very best way that we can.

Our main aim is to start the school day early for children and we have worked with you since the reopening last week to provide start times that are convenient for families as well as providing the children with sufficient time at school each day.

The system in the morning is working well and there have opportunities to invite year groups in slightly earlier that their allocated time.

Please note: this does not mean your child is late and will not be marked as late until the latest time stated for that year group.

Teachers are available to teach from 8:40am so when we can extend the amount of time children have in their classroom, by inviting them in slightly earlier, we will do so. This will only happen if it is safe to do so and by ensuring that we can keep the children, parents and staff safe remains are top priority.

Thank you for your continued support. We will continue to follow Government guidance and will keep you updated, via ParentMail and the school website, as and when we things change throughout the year.
