Reception Home Learning

Hello Reception,

We hope everyone is doing well.

As you know, your home learning tasks for this week were the work pack that you took home on Friday. If you weren’t in on Friday, your parents/carers should have received a parent mail reminding them to pick them up from the school office. It  is not too late if you still haven’t got yours – swing by today and pick it up.

Moving Forward

From Monday 30th March work will be posted on this page for Literacy, Phonics, Maths, Handwriting and IPC.

This will be up every Monday at 9am.

Further updates will also be posted based on feedback/common problems parents  may be facing when home schooling.

Managing Your Time

It’s a good idea to sit down with your child/children and make a timetable for your day.

Having a timetable means that everything gets done, there is a good structure to your day (just like at school), and it will help you complete the learning in a more relaxed and motivated way. It is not a good idea to do your learning all in one go.

We recommend you start your day doing PE with Joe Wicks or Cosmic Kids Yoga.

Contacting Your Teacher

If you have done a piece of learning that you are especially proud of – please take a photo or video of it and upload it to Tapestry or email it to reception@thomasarnold.bardaglea.org.uk

You and you can also use this email address to ask your child’s teacher questions about the tasks or help you access your home learning.

Make sure that you have the logins for Purple Mash and Tapestry. Again please email if you do not have these.

Remember to check this page for updates!
