Dear Parents and Carers,
I write to you for the final time this year to say have a wonderful summer and a huge thank you for all the hardwork and effort you have shown in supporting the children and the school over the last year.
It wasn’t the year we had planned however it is clear that with the dedication and hardwork from our staff, along with the support and encouragement from you at home, the children have had many opportunities to continue learning and developing since the school closed in March.
The last few months have shown how dedicated the staff at Thomas Arnold are and the passion and care they have in ensuring that every child feels supported and achieves their very best.
I am very proud of the children, families and staff that we are lucky enough to have at Thomas Arnold and am very much looking forward to seeing you all in September.
With heavy hearts we say good bye to our wonderful Year 6 children this year. We wish them every success as they embark on their next exciting adventure. We have no doubt that they will be back to see us in the new year and we look forward to hearing how well they are all doing at secondary school.
We also say goodbye to Mrs Singh who is relocating with her family to Wales.
Mrs Singh has worked incredibly hard over the last two years with many children at Thomas Arnold. Her positive and vibrant personality will be greatly missed. The children that are lucky enough to meet her in Wales will agree that she is extremely passionate about supporting every child to achieve their very best.
I will be in touch with any updates that we have ahead of the school opening in September.
Have a wonderful summer.
