Here’s my work:
Have you ever been to the glittering, shimmering moon?
Can you imagine the amazing things that can be found there?
I will tell you the story of how I went high, high, high into the sky. Up to the silvery disk in the sky and almost didn’t come back. Cautiously, testing the ladder which appeared in my garden in the dark of night. Frightened but curious, I climbed the swinging ladder up and up. Into the glittering night sky I went, only daring to look down once at the little houses below. Wind biting at my cold cheeks.
Click on the link below to open today’s Phonics PowerPoint, you will need something to write with.
Today you are going to create your own clock, made sure to ask an adult before you start as you will need a scissors and some other sharp materials.
Below are two links that may guide you. The first clock is with a paper plate and the second link is just using cardboard. For example, you might use a cereal box to cut your circle from.
Can you ask an adult to test you on showing the different times you learnt about this week?
The teachers would love to see some pictures of these!
